This is the 3rd generation of our contest and record proven microservos with ballraced metalgears. German Made metalgears, injection-moulded parts etc. coupled with local assembly and Volz´s Quality Control make them real Made-in-Germany-Quality. 

The new gear set has been redesigned for highest efficiency and robustness with minimized backlash. 

We are so confident of the quality of our metal gears that we are offering an unprecendented 5-Years-Warranty on the complete gear set! 

Making the final gears in bronze increased the strength of the whole gear set which enabled us to offer a true power version of this servo, the new Micro-Maxx which must be the most powerful microservo worldwide! 

Both new servos the Micro-Star 3 and Micro-Maxx come with the same high-class potentiometer (4 wipers ) that has proved its high reliability in the thousands of Volz Microservos sold so far. Strong glass reinforced servoarms are available in two lengths. 

Micro-Star 3 and Micro-Maxx have the same housing and same gears but use different motors and amplifiers which explains the different performance. 

From contest pilots to modelers who fly large scale gliders we have often been asked for a really powerful microservo. The Micro-Maxx is our answer! 

You find all contest that have been won with these servos and all records that have been flown having these servos on board on our site Innovations. 

While it is even faster than the ordinary Micro-Star 3, the Micro-Maxx has the tremendous torque of 3,4 kgcm = 47oz.in at 4.8 Volts or 4.0 kgcm = 56 oz.in at 6 Volts! 
 
Accordingly the Micro-Maxx guarantees safe and fast control of F3B-, F3J- and F5B- contestmodels and large gliders at any possible speed. 

The photo shows Dieter Perlick and the Kowalski brothers who have been successfully using the Micro-Maxx servos in their F3B-models on national and international contests. 

As our Micro-Star and Micro-Maxx servos have been successfully used in international contests several manufacturers of all molded contest gliders decided to premold some of their models for our servos. 

The combination of high torque, speed and robust metalgears make the Micro-Maxx even a proper choice for RC Cars (1:10 and 1:8 size). 

Micro-Maxx comes with additional lug mountings for horizontal installation and satisfy any demanding installation requirements in wings and/or narrow fuselages. 

We supply it with different glass-reinforced servoarms, grommets, attachment screws and VMS® adapter of your choice. 

The wing mounting set (# 502, see photo) can be used for Micro-Maxx and Micro-Star 3 and includes a pair of wingmounts, screws and aerodynamically shaped covers protecting servoarms and pushrods. 

The wing mounts have a size of 44 x 52 x 13 mm ( 1,7 x 2 x 0,5 "). 

We supply our Micro-Maxx servo with VMS®-Microconnector with the adapter of your choice for JR / Futaba, Multiplex, Simprop and Sanwa / Airtronics.
